You are limited to post classifieds only to one city.
You may not add images to your classified.
Your Text may be limited to low numbers.
You can't put a link to your webpage from your classified.
You can't post it for long term display.
You may have other related classifieds to yours, thus reducing your selling chance.
Some time if you forgot to remove the classified, you may get call in the middle of the night regarding that
as the website also didn't remove the expired classified.

Always use a secondary email address, when posting classified in a free classified website.
Use less words and price mark your product or service for better respond.
Fill correct, that how many days or months you want to run that classified.
Keep images of your product ready in jpeg file format if the website allows you to post them.
When some one contact you check the person is real or using fake address to cheat you.
if you sold out your product, go and remove the classified.

When using a paid classified, read the contract good as how they are going to deduct money for the classified from your credit card. Normally it should be a one time only payment. Some may charge per hit, as charge per people visit to your page.
